Copper Serpent Brooch

Originally I was going to make this into a pendant but I decided that it works well as a brooch.

The brooch itself has been been made entirely out of copper wire which has been weaved to create an intricate pattern on the snake body.

The head of the snake features a green agate bead which could be the 'eye' to the serpent.

This brooch measures 6cm x 3.5cm at its widest points.

The pictures below show the piece from the back and a detailed picture of the wire weaving.
