Happy new year everyone!

 

I have been taking a long deserved break from my jewellery making over the couple of weeks or so to spend time catching up with family and friends.

 

Over the holidays I got the opportunity to go to London and back to the V&A museum where I spent a lot of time looking at art pieces for inspiration for my own jewellery making. I was particularly looking at some of the iron railings that they have on display  modern and some old. I was looking at the shapes and forms of these and made a few sketches to incorporate some of these lines and forms into my jewellery pieces.

From this I have got many new ideas and I cannot wait to make some of these sketches of mine into a reality.
