Recently I have 'rediscovered' the stone rainbow Hematite. The stone is usually magnetic but the true beauty of it can be found in its colours which range from pinks, purples, blue, greens, yellows and greys. The stone resembles colours similar to oil patches on water. Rainbow hematite is given to the particular type of hematite that comes from the mine near Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in Brazil.

Over the last month I have been using the stone in a lot of earrings and other pieces of jewellery.
