It seems that I have finally recovered from the holiday laziness because I have been making lots of new pieces the last few days.

I have made a couple of new designs for some earrings, which are pictured below. One of the pairs is made from brass with turquoise and tigers eye stones. The other pair are made from copper and feature an intricate wire weave pattern and bright red coral beads.

I have been working on this piece for a few months now on and off and it's finally finished! I got the idea for this pendant when I was on holiday in Morocco, where there are many triangular shapes in jewellery.
It is made it using sterling silver that I have torched on a high heat to make the surface bumpy and wrinkly. This process is called reticulation and it was the first time I had ever used this technique. I then set stones of turquoise, garnet, carnelian & amethyst on the top of the base.
It has a very rustic feel to it and it is completely unique as I have no plans to make anymore quite like this.

I started making this bracelet before Christmas and I finished it this week! I plan on making more of these kind of cuff bracelets which have more of an organic feel to them.

The main focus to the cuff is the stone which is a beautiful green turquoise which I bought in Morocco, the picture doesn't do the stone justice I am afraid as it looks more blue. I have then used a variety of different smaller gemstones in greens, blues and yellows.
